About Camille’s film:

SOLACE: Wisdom of the Dying grew from Camille’s intimate experiences with people facing the end of their lives. As a hospice nurse, she has worked closely with patients, families, hospitals, cancer treatment centers and many health care professionals to address the needs of dying people as well as the needs of the health care community in being able to integrate the end of ones life as a natural and sacred human process rather than as a medical failure.

SOLACE: Wisdom of the Dying offers a rich blend of perspectives from experts, such as authors Stephen and Ondrea Levine, Roshi Joan Halifax, Larry and Barbara Dossey, to the practical and authentic wisdom born from everyday people facing their mortality.

In 2004 Camille and Grant Taylor, videographer and editor, began filming SOLACE: Wisdom of the Dying in Northern New Mexico. Since the beginning of this project both Camille and Grant have deepened their passion for the transformative process that arises when art meets healing intention. This film is the beginning of a series of multimedia projects intended to support new paradigms in health care, being human and raising consciousness.
